Billy R. Vickers is president and chief executive officer of Dublin, Ohio-based Modular Assembly Innovations (MAI). One of the largest minority-owned businesses in the country, MAI is the parent company of Great Lakes Assemblies, Gulf Shore Assemblies, Indiana Assemblies and North American Assemblies. These locations span four states, employ approximately 400 associates and generate more than $1.2 billion in revenue.
Vickers holds a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University. He completed the Kellogg Advance Management Education Program at Northwestern University. Vickers began his manufacturing career at Ironton Castings in Ironton, Ohio. He went on to earn various leadership roles and achieve successful entrepreneurial pursuits throughout his more than 35-year career.
In addition to the Worthington Enterprises, Inc. Board of Directors, Vickers also serves on the Board of Directors for the Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation, Fifth Third Bank Advisory Board, A Kid Again National Office and is a member of the Columbus Partnership, the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association and the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Columbus Advisory Council.
