Worthington Enterprises is one of America’s Greatest Workplaces based on a recent report published by Newsweek in collaboration with market research partner Plant-A Insights Group. Worthington is one of 38 Industrial Products companies to earn the distinction that recognizes compensation and benefits, training and career progression, work-life balance and company culture.
Research included interviews of more than 250,000 U.S. employees from varying organizations, which resulted in more than 1.5 million company reviews spanning 78 individual sectors. Post-survey desk research considered each ranked company's online mentions, diversity and inclusion ratings, and reviews of senior management.
Josie Lewis, vice president, Human Resources, Worthington Enterprises, said, “It is an honor to be ranked among America’s Greatest Workplaces based on feedback from our employees about their holistic experience. We truly believe that employees are our most important asset and recognize the importance of creating an environment where they are empowered to innovate, thrive and grow.”
According to Newsweek, the listing spotlights companies whose employees find it easy to stay engaged. Nancy Cooper, editor-in-chief, Newsweek, wrote in summary of the report, “The companies featured here show that, even in the face of waning enthusiasm among much of the workforce, it is still possible to create a great work environment that facilitates engagement…. The highly regarded companies ranked here likely enjoy stronger client relationships and higher retention rates, because better workplaces benefit everyone.”
Earlier this year Worthington earned recognition as one of America’s Most Trustworthy Companies, Greatest Workplaces for Diversity and Most Responsible Companies.
